The importance of past questions to a students can not be overemphasized, because this is the number one material In which a student is suppose to acquire.

Following past records of examinations, questions from past questions often repeat themselves over and over again thereby giving great advantage to those who has studied it relentlessly.

One important aspect of having this past questions is that it gives you a picture of how the exams is going to look like and this has helped a lot of people who has the fear in engaging in any examination as this will now make him or her bold enough to face anything.

How to study past question papers PQ

1. Set your time: while studying past questions for any examination, learn how to deal with your time because it is certain that in most examinations they always limit the time so as to accommodate more who are to write so it is now left for you to know what to do with your time.

2. Don’t cram: most students engage themselves in cramming since the answers are written at the side instead of getting what is needful.

At the end of the day the now get themselves confused and lose what was suppose to be gotten, past questions where suppose to be a guide to train you on what have been read.

3. Poor studying habit: it obvious that most people has little or no idea on how to study effectively, this has affected most students negatively in many aspect.

The Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students from World Bank member countries to pursue development-related studies at selected Universities around the world. The scholarship provides travel costs between your home country and the host university, tuition for your graduate program, the cost of basic medical insurance, a monthly subsistence allowance to cover living expenses, including books.

ADB Japan Scholarship Program
The Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) aims to provide an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of ADB’s developing member countries to undertake postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region.  The ADB-JSP provides full tuition fees, a monthly subsistence and housing allowance, an allowance for books and instructional materials, medical insurance, and travel expenses.

Rotary Foundation Global Study Grants
The Rotary Foundation offers scholarship funding through the Rotary Foundation Global Grant scholarships. The scholarship funds graduate-level coursework or research for one to four academic years.  The minimum budget for a global grant scholarship is $30,000 which can fund the following: passport/visa, inoculations, travel expenses, school supplies, tuition, room and board, etc.

OFID Scholarship Award
OFID (The OPEC Fund for International Development) offers a fully-funded scholarship to qualified applicants who wish to study for a Master’s degree in an accredited University around the world. The scholarships are worth up to $50,000 that covers the tuition fees, monthly allowance to cover living expenses, accommodation, insurance, books, relocation grants, and travel costs.

It obvious that most people after going through this list might be discouraged, claiming that why will an institution bring down it cut off point to 150?

But the simple reply is that the joint Admission and matriculation board jamb has reduced cut off marks for admission and also asked institution to follow the adjustment.

UMYU ADMISSION LIST

The University (UMYU), Katsina State, wishes to inform the general public and candidates who choose the school as either first of second choice and who also participated in the just conducted utme that the school has released the names of successful students offered provisional into Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU), Katsina State four years degree programs.


Candidates may now proceed in checking their names on the admission list by visiting the schools admission portal to check their admission status.
