Asuu threatens To Embark On Strike  

The Academic Staff Union of university teachers ASUU has made known their idea of embarking on another industrious strike.

This was as a result of the federal government refusal to pay salaries to lecturers not enrolled on IPPIS.

Following the new implementations carried out by by the governing board of ippis not to pay salaries to staffs of universities,polytechnic and colleges  not under ippis.

Meanwhile the spokes person of the ippis gave a brief talk introducing the new implementations.

Below are some of this disclosed statement.

“am directed to inform you that the preparation of January 2020 salary payroll and warrants of the Federal Tertiary institutions are ongoing and will be ready for submission on or before 29th January 2020. This is to give effect to the directive of the Federal Government that all ministries, Departments, and Agencies drawing Personnel Cost from the Consolidated Revenue Fund (CFR) should be enrolled on the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS).”

  1. In order to actualize this directive, you are please requested not to release the funds for payment of salaries
  2. the Tertiary Institutions as their salaries will henceforth be paid on the IPPIS platform with effect from January 2020.Please accept the assurances and warm regards of the Accountant General of the Federation.”

This decree has been implemented and has steered confusion among the board.

Meanwhile assu has disclosed that its members will not join ippis as it does not meet the peculiar needs of the union.

Also the board has threatened that once their salaries are been tempered with they will be left with no choice to embark on another industrious strike.

POLAC Resumption Date

This is to bring to the notice of the general public,that the Nigerian police academy (POLAC) has published the resumption date for all students and newly  admitted students of POLAC.

Moreover the Nigeria Police Academy (NPA) Mangements has further stated that the resumption date which was supposed to be on the 19th been sunday for all the 7th Regular Course admitted Cadets has been postponed to 26th January 2020.

This is as a result of the ongoing renovations in the school hostel.

Meanwhile the school has pronounced that any student who refuses to resume on the disclosed date would have his admission terminated.

Also the management has made it mandatory that the 3rd (Law Cadets), 4th, 5th and 6th Regular Course Cadets are also to resume on the same date.

FUOYO ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2020/2021

The management of the federal university of Oyo (FEOYO),wishes to notify the general public and students of FEOYO, that the school has released the academic calendar for 2020/2021 academic section.
Candidate are therefore asked to check the schools newly published academic calendar and adapt with the changes.

Meanwhile the school has been scheduled to kick start on the 3th of febuary been on Monday.
Moreover academic activities are to properly commence on the 10the of February been Monday.

Firstly  academic activities for first semester have been scheduled to end on the 15the of June 2020.

But academic activities for second semester will commence on the 29th of June 2020.
Finally second semester academic activities ends on the 26th of November 2020.

This is notify the general public that the management of Adamawa state university,has released the names of candidates offered provisional admission into Adamawa state university four years degree programs.

The admission list of successful candidates has been published online but can only be check via the schools admission portal.

But alternatively candidates can also check their admission status on jamb admission processing portal CAPS.

The adamawa  state university admission list can be checked via the school portal,therefore to proceed in checking your status follow the instructions below.

  • Firstly Login the schools portal via this link below.
  • www.adsu.edu.ng
  • Proceed in clicking check admission status.
  • Provide you registration number.
  • Finally click on check.

But it seems like ADSU Admission portal is not available,so make use of jamb caps.

How to check your Admission status on Jamb Caps

  1. Firstly login your jamb caps through this link below.
  2. www.jamb.org.ng
  3. Now scroll below and click check admission status.
  4. Provide you correct email and password.
  5. Also provide your Reg number.
  6. Finally click on check and all your details will be reviewed.

important updates

  • All admitted candidates are to make sure they complete there clearance and other stuffs on or before the 27th of February 2020, as the clearance commence from the 7th of January 2020.
  • Here are some of items required for the clearance:
  1. Local government indigene certificate.
  2. Original jamb result.
  3. Original birth certificate.
  4. Your original O level result.
  5. You will also provide your original NCE/ND/HND/IJMB results.
  6. Also print out an original copy of you registration slip.
  7. Current passport.
